James A. McAlister Funerals & Cremation Obituary

Daniel "Danny" Everette Price, age 64 of James Island passed away Monday, July 7, 2025.

Danny was born on October 14, 1960. He grew up on James Island with his three brothers and two sisters, making sure their parents never fell victim to boredom. Danny enjoyed many years of surfing on Folly Beach, taking friends and family out to the sandbar, and working on his cars and motorcycles.

Danny graduated from Fort Johnson High School in 1979. After high school, Danny made a successful career as a master welder, traveling both domestically and internationally to carry out his craft. During his travels, he met his wife at the time, Teresa Brockman, with whom he had his baby girl, Sarah Danielle, in 2003. Danny went on to retire and continued to do the things he loved, spending time on the boat fishing with his daughter and her dog, Maddie.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Francis Raymond Price, Jr., Dorothy Anne Utsey Price-Neeley, his grandparents, Dr. Francis Raymond and Lena Price, Everett Guess and Margaret Oliver Utsey.

Danny is survived by his daughter Sarah Danielle Price Bryant and her husband Cole; siblings, Donna Price FitzGerald, Francis Raymond "Chip" Price, III (Anne), Michael Comer Price (Christine), Lawrence Steven Price (Kaye) and Patricia Oliver Price; four nephews and one niece, Robert Vincent FitzGerald, Jr. (Jessica), Grayson Price FitzGerald, Lawrence Steven Price, Jr., Timothy Marion Everett Price and Michaela Ann Price.

The family will receive friends between 2:00 and 4:00 PM, Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston.
