DANIEL QUINN Obituary
Born on March 12, 1955 in Lockport, N.Y. he was the son of James and Elizabeth (Baker) Quinn.
Dan was a 1974 graduate of Clearfield Area High School. He served in the U.S. Army in the military police. Upon leaving the military, he became a corrections officer at Clearfield County Jail.
He is survived by his sister, Diana Quinn of Clearfield; two nieces, Carla Bloom of Clearfield, and Jessie Jeffries of Houtzdale; and one nephew, Tyler Quinn of Butler. He is also survived by great-nieces, Trenadi Bloom and Natalee Jeffries; and great-nephews, Tesher Quinn and Tristan Jeffries.
The "Big" kids and the "Little" ones were the shining lights of Dan's life, and he was delighted by them, adored them and loved them very much.
Additionally, Dan is survived by his beloved Aunt Dorothy Wisor of Clearfield; several cousins; and many friends in Albany, N.Y. Lyn Mack and Sara Hendry were Dan's steadfast supporters during his many years in New York. Their kindness, compassion and love for him was limitless and mutual.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James "Jim" Quinn and Timothy "Buckwheat" Quinn; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and an infant great-nephew, Jameson Quinn.
Per the wishes of the family, there will be no public visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dan's name to The American Diabetes Association or the Disabled American Veterans.

Through our school years, Dan was always there to help you if you needed anything. Class of 1974 has sure lost many classmates over the last several years and we are still to young to see this happening.

"The Quinn family" was part of my childhood neighborhood. Although Dan was a bit older, I do remember him and his siblings from Leonard Grade Elementary and Clearfield Jr High. Good people. My sincere condolences. I hope your memories of Dan will bring laughter, joy, and peace
