Reardon, Daniel "Dan" Age 51. Passed away April 19, 2017 while snorkeling on vacation with family. Beloved husband and best friend of Lisa (nee Prodoehl). Loving father of Nicholas (Rachel), Shaylan (fiance Collin Seubert), Daniel T. and Moira. Cherished son of Mary (late James) Reardon. Dear brother of Timothy (Ann), Kathleen Frey (Tim Bildsoe), Patricia (Mark) Schneider, Kevin (Christine), Colleen (Gerard) Leider and Brian (Erica). Dear son-in-law of Daniel L. and Dianne Prodoehl and brother-in-law of Daniel S. Prodoehl (Jodi). Further survived by many nieces and nephews. Dan was a graduate of Marquette University High School, Marquette University (BS), and Butler University (MBA). Dan was Vice President at Acosta Sales & Marketing where he worked with colleagues and clients for over 25 years. Dan had an infectious love for water. He cherished his time spent fishing for "the big one" in Canada with his brothers, father, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and children. He was fascinated with sea turtles and enjoyed showing them to his kids while snorkeling in St. Croix, USVI. When not fishing or snorkeling, Dan preferred alone time with his wife on local Wisconsin lakes. Even greater than his love for water, was Dan's love for his family and friends. He was exceptional at maintaining relationships and remained close with friends from all stages of his life. A public Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jerome's Church in Oconomowoc (995 S. Silver Lake St.) on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 4pm to 5pm. A reception will follow mass in the narthex of St. Jerome's Church where family will receive guests. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Wisconsin Multiple Sclerosis Society, Marquette University High School, or Divine Savior Holy Angels High School would be appreciated by the family. Dan will be remembered best as a loving husband and father who inspired his children with his Faith. His wit, gentle and playful personality, and integrity will be missed by all who knew him.

Not sure what to say?

Dear Nick,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. I remember you and your family well from Lake Country School. May the love of friends and family
carry all of you through your grief.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Lisa and Family, I am deeply saddened by and sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Dan on the Heinz business about 2 years ago for not nearly long enough. He was an incredible business partner, but his ability to balance work and family was the most important thing I learned from working with him, and I'll carry that with me through the rest of my career. I hope you find some comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in everyone who crossed his path.

Lisa, this is Chris Cafaro. May I start by expressing to you my deepest sorrow and sympathy over the loss of your husband. I recall with great fondness having run into you a few years ago after not having seen you for decades. You remember that--out at Water St. Brewery? It was so nice to see you, but at the time I had no idea you were married to Dan. We didn't have much time to chat, and if we did, certainly that would have been a "small world" moment, for Dan and I graduated from high...

Please accept my deepest condolences at Dan's passing. I worked for Jim (Dan's dad) at Kivett & Kasdorf in the late 1960's and heard of the accident from another former secretary. Prayers for all of the family. Mary Rehbeck Earley

Very sorry for your loss! Working for Acosta and the Kroger Team gave me the opportunity to work with Dan on the Ken's Foods business. I enjoyed watching his passion for the business and the great leadership he provided. I had lunch with him during my visit to Milwaukee a few weeks. He was excited about all the great things going on with your family. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

My thoughts, prayers and well wishes are with the Reardon family at this difficult time.

Dear Lisa and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Wonderful memories of you, Dan and family at football and basketball games for MUHS will forever remain in my heart. I can't imagine what you are going through. By all the outpouring of love it is easy to see what an exceptional man he was and he will undoubtedly always be exceptional in the memories and hearts of many. Sending thoughts and prayers to you, your children and your family and friends.

Dear Lisa and family,
We are so sad to hear of Dan's passing. We have such found memories of your family from the Lake Country School days. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May your faith sustain you during this most difficult time.
