Not sure what to say?

Our jazz band at Northlake College here in Irving enjoyed playing our instruments with him, I played trumpet. Then Dan said his jazz band at Brookhaven College needed a piano player so I joined that band. Freddie Jones was the leader there and trumpeter too. I started taking lessons from Freddie and still do that. One honor I had at Dan´s ceremony at our Dallas National Ceremony was to play Taps for him. Thank you Dan for all your friendship & svc to our country

Would love to reconnect with Barbara. Worked for years together at Irving Community Hospital. At the same phone number if you still have it. I am so sorry for your loss. Enjoy your memories of many happy years together. Love, Chris

I met Dan in the late 1970s. His interests outside our profession were amazing and he had many wonderful stories to tell of diving in the Red Sea and playing in the fleet jazz band during the 1950s. Dan worked on a couple of proprietary programs for me at Vought during the last 5 years of his employment. He always provided expert analyses on the combat survivability of alternative aircraft designs.

I worked with Dan Reedy in the Operations Analysis group at LTV Aerospace & Defense Company in the mid-to-late 1970s. I remember that Dan had come to LTV (now Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control) from General Dynamics Ft. Worth (now Lockheed Martin Aeronautics). Dan was a U.S. Navy P-3 pilot, and a saxophone player. Dan really enjoyed scuba diving all over the world on his vacations. He was such a diving enthusiast that one year, he even went diving in Israel right after the Six-Day...

A caring brother-in-law. I have a lot of memories and stores to remember.

Dan called me after his retirement a couple of decades or so ago and asked if he could play saxophone in the North lake College Jazz Ensemble. He confessed that had not picked it up in 40 years but he really wanted to play again. After a rough semester of getting acclimated he became our featured soloist and a very valued member of our group for years.

His jazz conception was a great help to the younger students and he will be greatly missed.

We will miss him for his patriotism, his beautiful music and his friendship forever. Knew Dan for years in various bands and I credit him with introducing me to Freddie Jones, who was jazz band director at Brookhaven College, and trumpeter extraordinaire. Dan enjoyed playing in Freddie's band, plus Jim Eger's jazz band at Northlake College in Irving, though he played in several bands that I was a part of as well.

Thank you for your service Dan, you will never be forgotten. Us...
