Read MoreI remember Dan growing up on Hull Island. He was a few years older and would "chase" us around in the woods on his motorcycle. We had a great time. I remember he had a shed with 3 or 4 motorcycles in it and sold one to Steve Pulda. We looked up to him and it is sad to see this.

We knew Dan not just as our friendly local law enforcement officer, but as a wonderful mentor and coach for AYSO Soccer. He was a fine man, great dad, and caring member of the community. He will be missed.
