Not sure what to say?

I never had the opportunity of meeting your Dad, but he would have been so proud to see how you've helped to turn a tragic event into a catalyst for positive change in so many lives. You keep his spirit alive.

I remember Dan as a man with an incredible joie de vivre - always full of fun and excitement, yet for whom family remained his number one priority.
He left a wonderful legacy of kindness, which endures through his generous and loving family.

He was my uncle. Iwas only 11 at the time but he was larger than life. His death was a terrible tragedy and a great loss to all who knew him and loved him. It changed our family forever. But his memory, kindness, sense of humour, love of family and zest for life live on within myself and the Rudberg's.

I was very young when it happened. But, I remember him as a very nice man. xox

I was very young when this happened, but I remember him to be such a nice man. xo

Dan created a family of kind, just and remarkable human beings. He left a legacy of tolerance, fairness, humanity and LOVE. My thoughts are always with the Rudberg family. With love, Claudia

I remember his tragic death like it was yesterday. It was a big shock in the community. His heroism remains an inspiration to us all. Many of us are not able to act so selflessly in a crisis.
