On this Anniversary of Dan's passing, I wish to highlight the dedicated servant he was to both Biotech Professionals and inevitably the patients he served. He was one of the best sounding board of knowledge in the business. He loved people who sought that knowledge which he passionately imparted. He was a collaborator - so nice to work with. RIP our Dear Friend and mentor.

Our deepest sympathies to the Rufo family. I remember Dan always being super nice to us younger kids on "The Wall". RIP Dan.

To the Rufo family. Just heard of Dan´s passing. Our deepest condolences on such a loved ones passing . Hopefully the memory of many good times will ease the pain of losing such a beloved brother.

Dan was my first professional boss, but never treat me as a subordinate. He always mentored me, and took the time with me for my growth - never his. 40 years later now I will miss the genuine concern and true friendship this man graced me with. So today I am sad, but I am grateful. Thanks Dano for everything - I will see you again my friend................

Please accept our sincere condolences and our prayers. May your memories of your good times together sustain you as grieve Daniel's passing.

Dear Barbara and Caroline: We are so sorry for the loss of Dan. He has been a wonderful gift to Assumption as a parent and close friend. The beautiful garden he created for Caroline´s roommate Colleen Ritzer is a wonderful memory now if not only for Colleen but for Dan as well. I am sorry we cannot be with you for his Mass but please know you both are in our hearts and prayers. I am so glad we were able to see you all at the Cape event this past July. Peace, Melanie Demarais
