Not sure what to say?

He was a walking Cleveland History book Thanks for sharing your knowledge Joe Allen Cutler Bay, Florida

Danny and I always had the best dinners with Dad all over town! Great conversations and laughter.

I knew him as Coach at Borromeo. He was an example of dedication and learned a lot from him. I was able to transfer to JCU and play there. Appreciated him more when I had the chance to play with him at Alumni Games. He was an influence in my life will be remembered in my prayers.

I had the pleasure at programs through the Geauga County Dept. of Aging to hear him speak many times. EACH encounter was unique and the history I learned about Cleveland was inspiring. Dan had a way of communicating that I will always cherish....his sitting down in a comfortable chair, as if in front of a fireplace.... and then talking to you as an old friend. I will miss all his "good stories" and now Heaven will enjoy his Cleveland Storytelling. My sincere condolences to his family. May he...

It was our privilege to get to know Dan when our company acquired Floormat.com in April of 2016. While his departure from this world is one of heartache and sorrow for the family and friends that he left behind, his impact and kindness too so many, stands as a legacy to the man that he was, and whose blueprint will live on in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Though Dan will never again walk through the doors of our lives on this earth, his memory will live on and walk through the...

Shane, my family and I wish you and your entire family our condolences on the passing of Dan. We will be unable to attend either the wake or mass since we will be out of town this Thursday through 8/12. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. RIP Dan.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Mr. Daniel Ruminski contributed greatly to Cleveland History Days.

We would look forward to getting to see and listen to Dan every time he came to White North Stables. He was a master storyteller and lover of history and life. One year we created what looked like a library on a pedestal complete with chair and lamp in the middle of our riding arena and Dan told the most amazing stories. He will be so, so missed.

Mr. Ruminski was our Health teacher as well as our basketball coach at Borromeo Seminary High School in Wickliffe. He never really talked about his military service back then but thanks to him for serving. Prayers for the repose of his soul and for his family. Tim McKeogh Borromeo Seminary HS `76
