Not sure what to say?

DAN WAS ONE OF THE FINEST POLICE OFFICERS I EVER MET. I TRAINED HIM FOR LT AND CAPT. HE ALWAYS WORKED HARD FOR THE RANKS HE ATTAINED--BARBARA AND I EXTEND OUR GREATEST SYMPATHIES--OUR BEST TO MARY--DAN AND BARBARA DEL BAGNO KENDALL PARK,NJK>

My prayers are with Capt Russo and his family, I always found him to be a gentileman and enjoyed seeing him and his son Dan Jr. every holiday season at Cryan's in South Orange. I wish that I could have worked under him at IPD but he had retired prior to my joining the force. Sgt Harold Bork (Retired)

Dear Aunt Mary, Dan,Rita,Paul,Jon paul and Dan
Uncle Dan will be missed very much. He is at peace now probably partying with everyone, bet my father got a bocce game going already. Just remember all the happy times, that's what keeps you going. Memories last a life time. My Love and Sympathy to all.
Love, Fran

I have nothing but fine memories of him. He was in charge training us new recruits back in 1977 before we took the exam. He was an inspiration and mentor and a man of great character. Im proud to have known and worked for him. May he rest in peace.
Harry Houck former IPD

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

He was a great man and he gave me guidance early in my police career.
He truly cared about the job.
