Dan was an original resident of Abington Arms, residing here over 30 years and was such a kind and caring gentleman! He had numerous friends in the building, one female resident, in particular always got Dan on the dance floor and danced with him at our Holiday dinner. He will be sorely missed by us all. Rest In Peace Dear Friend!

When Dan worked with the Catholic Universe Bulletin, he covered the annual Charity Game at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. I played in two of those games for Benedictine. We defeated St. Ignatius in 1952 and lost to Rhodes in 1953. Everytime Dan and I met in the last fifty seven years, he would always reflect on those games and tell me how well I played. Although he was blind, his mind still was able to bring back all the color of those games. I am very sorry that I will not be in town to...
