Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Dan's death and am very sorry. I was introduced to Dan when I was a teenager in the 70's and my mother worked in his family's book store. Later I moved onto his street. He was a kind soul and I enjoyed talking to Dan as he walked by my house.

I was Dan's roommate at Wilkes University in the late '60's. We have kept in touch ever since. Dan is one of the most open, forgiving, and hopeful people I have ever known. I will him very much.

I send my condolences. Very sorry to hear about Dan. He was a very nice person. I will miss him. I knew him for close to 40 years and always found him to be a nice, honest person who could always be trusted.

I was Dan's nurse through his health insurance. I'm so sorry he lost this battle. I hope his death was peaceful. He really was tough and fought hard maintaining his independence all the way My condolences to his family and friends - Martin Daynorowicz, RN.

I first met Dan in the 1990s while visiting his bookstore with my Mom. She used to enjoy going in there and bought me a couple of gifts from the shop. Though I grew up in the area -- and my first home was a five-minute walk from Dan’s house -- I never knew him until I had moved away and came home to visit. We later became friends through a mutual buddy who was one of Dan's lodge brothers.

Dan was a great guy, and I applaud him for helping keep alive the increasingly...

I have known Dan for over 30 years. First as a customer then as a fellow Ardmore business associate. I worked at the Army-Navy Store for a little over 10 years and always talked to Dan at Bobby's Deli and in the store. He was always nice to me and would let shoot the breeze with him in the store. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy to your family. John Farrell

I was happy to be friends with Danny for 34 years--he became my ardmore store friend in the fall of 1975, never had technology in his store.

To the Salsburg Family,
I am sorry for your loss. Dan was one of the kindest and generous people I have met. I would sit next to him during services at SJCC and he was always upbeat even when he was going through his chemotherapy. He was an inspiration to all! May he rest in peace.

Ardmore has lost an icon. Danny will truly be missed.
