Not sure what to say?

God bless Dan. His music will forever be treasured.

Love from the Netherlands. Thank you for the music. Talked to Dan briefly after a show in Amsterdam. He was so nice and friendly. So sad that he is no longer with us. My heart goes out to the family.

One of the coolest musicians i was blessed to see. He had his own style and was a gracious human being.

It's just so sad. I didn't know the had a little girl. My sincere condolences to the family.

I appreciated Dan taking over after Vince Oliver's sudden death. He didn't even have a barber's license at first but got one. Who will step up and be musical barber now?

Dan and I met at the barbershop. Mr Oliver the previous owner had cut my hair since I was 17 in 1982. I enjoyed talking to Dan. He and I often talked of the Church (I was an altar boy at Holy Rosary) and local history. He cut my hair for my birthday on March 11. Eternal Rest Grant to Him, O Lord. I will miss him. He was so kind. Charles Ellis-Russell

You were a brilliant artist, and far too young to be leaving the world of the living. Rest In Peace, young Mr. Sartain and may your family and friends come together to heal from their loss. The rest of us will remember you through continued appreciation of the works that you’ve left for us all.

Dan was one of the funniest people that I have ever known. And super talented. I'll miss seeing him around.

Dan was a great guy. I got to know him through the barbershop. His soul sparkled. I will miss him.
