Not sure what to say?

My original entry stands to this day. You will always be loved and remembered. Hugs to his loved ones.

He was my step dad but I sure didn't think of him like that. He was a father to me and everyday I miss him. He was sweet, loving, and always knew just what to do to make me laugh and to make me smile. We always shared something together like the love of Doctor Who or just some game we would play. He will be missed.

For Dan's family. Your loss is beyond words and incomprehensible. Dan and I tended bar together for 2 + years and became friends and stayed friends until he left for Colorado. I can say with every cell of my being that he loved his family with all his heart. He not only loved you, he admired and respected each of you for your unique talents and gifts. With Lisa, it was her artistry, with his Mom it was the courage to run a NYC marathon, Kevin was the computer wiz and his Dad was never afraid...

Dan and I were instant friends the first day of freshman year. He was kind, caring and hilarious. He was a friend when i needed it and we shared a special connection. I knew he struggled, but I am shocked that he is gone. His family, daughter and friends meant so much to him. I hope he is watching over us now. I am thinking and praying for the satterly family during what must be a horrible time.

I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I can't imagine what you're going through, but thank you for raising such a wonderful person. Dan and I went to grammar school together and we reconnected over Facebook a few short months ago. He was outrageously funny and witty (if not mischievous!) when we were kids and it was so great to talk to him as adults and see what sincere person he'd become.
I told him how cute his daughter was and he replied, "Thank you, Mackenzie is the...

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. When you think of Dan you have to smile. He had the biggest smile that showed so much love. He loved being with his family and friends. He was always making you laugh. I remember one time laughing so hard as he and Nicole teased Craig about his hearing. It went on for hours. They way he loved the children too. One of the best memories was when he danced with Mackenzie the first time as her father. We will miss you but you still make us...

When I met Dan for the first time he was exactly what everyone has described him as. I was told that Dan didn't like to dance, well that wasn't the case, he was out on the dance floor having a blast dancing with my mom at our wedding!!! We are so happy that he was able to attend. Everyone that met him that night had nothing but kind words to say about him. Our prayers and condolences go out to his family, friends and love ones. He will be truly missed.

Jane and Tim and family,

Condolences to you all. The most handsome man in the whole entire extended family and the man who would light up a room with his presence and charm. Thank you for bringing him in the world. We have all been blessed to know him. I know he loved you all and was proud to be your son and brother...

I remember the day Jon T came up to me in the halls and says so non chalant " what youngest if Dan asked you to prom?!" I of course was sure excited but played it off very casual and responded " sure why not". We went and had the best time! We continued having those great times together for about 3 years and went our separate ways. But we always came back to check in with each other as we stayed friends. I am grateful for everything. Always in my heart xoxo
