On Saturday I wore SFC Daniel's name on my bib for the Cpl Christopher G. Scherer Memorial "I Did The Grid" Run/Walk. Every step I ran honored Daniel's heroism and ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces of the United States of America. At the completion of the run I rang the bell in his memory. Team Chris wants you to know how much we all appreciate and remember our Fallen. "We don't know them all, but we owe them all."

SFC Scheibner was my DS at FT Sill 04. I really enjoyed his leadership and training. He was a very good person and will be missed. I just found out if his passing a few months ago from a newspaper that's hanging up in a local diner close to JBLM.
