But we have left California and in Oklahoma so in didnt know Ron passed that may have been the time my dad passed. So now god will have them in heave.

To Dan's family,
I was in 3rd platoon with Dan. I also served with Dan in Kuwait back in 2001. During that first deployment Dan along with Mike Sonoda and Paul Neubauer were the three guys who mentored and became encouraging friends when I was a young and scared PFC. I was with all of them again in Iraq and Dan really was larger than life. Dan was always a kind and understanding friend I could talk to without having to worry about being judged or ridiculed, I trusted him wholeheartedly. ...
