Not sure what to say?

I served with Seadog on the Scamp. I looked up to him and considered him a true friend. Rest your oars buddy!

Dan was not only a great guy, but one I truly admired. I should be so lucky as to be as good a man as Dan.

I never met you during this life, but I am proud to call you my Brother. You did well, you had a good life. Rest ye oars, Sailor; your Brothers of the Phin have the Watch.

Dan and I were both MM's on the Scamp together. He was a great guy and quite a character. Every time I think of him I remember his favorite song "Three bells by the Browns". God bless Dan and everyone in his family.

Dear Chris, family and friends of Dan´s, On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans, we offer our sincere condolences at Dan´s passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are always saddened whenever a fellow "Bubblehead" departs on Eternal Patrol. He served with honor on the USS Sperry (AS-12), the USS Scamp (SSN-588), and USS San Francisco (SSN-711). To our "Brother-of-the-Phin" we say, "Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. Fair Winds and Following Seas."...

I did not know your loved one. I loved the obituary that he wrote. Sounds like he enjoyed life and loved his family and God. Prayers for comfort for your family.
