Not sure what to say?

Dear Family,
We have many good memories of Dan, and Charlotte, Doug, Dwight, Dale, and Donn. I remember the first time you attended the Ridgefield Church. And then, growing up with you at Pleasant View. Our love to you.

I miss you already Grandpa Dan. You were one of the kindest men I've ever known. Your stories of faith, life, and hope will be passed on to your great-grandchildren. You were one spunky 96 year old! I can only hope to live as long as you, but I'll never be as cool! Pick me up in your purple dune buggy when it's my turn Grandpa...

To Dan's family: we are so sorry we missed the memorial service on Saturday. We had a family gathering planned previously so was impossible to cancel. Even though we were not in attendance our prayers have gone up to our loving Heavenly Father who is the great Comforter. And we will continue to pray for you in the days ahead as you adjust to life without your father. We have some great memories of our times spent with Dan and your mother Charlotte. May our Lord give you His wondeful...

I remember some fun times in the Shetler home during my Clark College days. Dan was a wonderful, godly example to follow. He will be missed. My prayers are with you, Dale, and your brothers.

I remember meeting the Shetler family when I was about 11 at Ridgefield Nazarene Church, Dan and Charlotte, Doug, Dwight, Dale and Don. We shared some wonderful years. God bless you all. Dan will be missed.

Dan lived what he believed. A wonderful christian man. Sorry I will miss the service as am in California with my son. May God be near all you boys and family. Your Dad was a great example to follow. glenys Worthington

I first met Dan 10 or 12 years ago when he showed up at my welding shop wanting the seat from an old office chair mounted on his bike so he could ride in comfort. That was the first of many similer projects to come. I always looked forward to Dans visits and admired how busy he seemed to keep himself and his many interesting ideas. But best of all money rarely changed hands as I was paid with home made peach ice cream and pecan sandies cookies. Goodbye my old FRIEND I will forever miss you.

What a guy! We remember him driving his little sporty car, and having to climb in and out of it..it was fun to watch...we love you, and are thinking of you at this time..Don and Phyllis Hartwig
