Not sure what to say?

Your old friend and coworker here again, Dan. 18 years today you've been gone now. 18 years of the LLL girls remembering you, 18 years of laughing and talking with bittersweet tears about all of us working together, watching as you rose up the ladder at V&E, and of course the fun we used to have while getting serious work done! Your kids are growing up and I would bet that they all have a lot of their dad in them. I see Jackson is married now--W O W I remember when he was born, and as the...

To those of you who knew my father, thank you for remembering him even as recently as 2024. I'm his eldest son Jackson checking in now to tell him that I'm getting married in ten days. At times like these I feel his absence the most. His choice has led to so much pain, and yet I wish desperately I could have him back just for an hour so he could see his son off at the altar. I love you dad and I know one day far in the future I'll get to introduce you to my beautiful wife.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to you, Dan. You are not forgotten and still missed by all who were blessed to cross paths with you!

I cannot believe it has been 14 years since your passing, Dan. You are still missed and thought of so often. That smile; that laugh; that gentle, generous spirit you embodied. "LLLs" will toast your memory and talk and laugh of your antics. We miss you!

Thanks for posting, Jo. Great of you to remember his birthday. I remember him speaking well of you. I can see why. Thanks again to everyone who posted!

You would be 45 years old today if you were still here with us! Happy heavenly birthday, dear Dan. Last minute interrogatories, pulling a bazillion books from the library, running through the airport to get you home for Mother's Day, Molina's margaritas, your brilliant mind, that laugh...you're still missed and thought of fondly and often.

Every now and again, I muster the courage to go on this site. I find it encouraging to see the many lives Dan touched in a positive way. Not a day has gone by in 12 years that I've not thought of him. Kay and the boys are doing well. We just attended a second graduation in Austin. Thanks to all for the comments and kind words.

Happy Birthday Dan. You are always remembered and always missed!

Rest In Peace, Dan. While our time together was brief, I loved you like a brother..
