I have fond memories of Reverend Simmons and have often recalled them in the past week. I will remember his spirit of happiness. May your memories of him bring you comfort.

To the family of Rev. Dr. Daniel Simmons Sr.
I was a student of Rev. Simmons weekly Bible Study class at Mother Emanuel AME Church. I enjoyed his teachings, his sense of humor and the stories that he told us of his life experiences and that of his children. His classes were always lively and inspiring. He will be greatly missed.
With Sincere Sympathy
