I've known Dan for over 30 years. When my son and I come to the farm to hunt pheasants, Dan would always invite me in for a coffee and a chat. Dan was a great, salt-of-the-earth man, and I respected and liked him. I will be out of state during the visitation and funeral, but my thoughts are with Marge and the family.
