Not sure what to say?

I met Dan only once at an APA convention in Honolulu when his wife and my former grad school classmate attended. I´ve heard news over the years from Jan about them both. She loved him so much. Recently, health problems have prevented Jan from writing. This year my card to her came back so I googled and found Dan´s obituary instead. Jan, I don´t know if you still read messages here or not but if you do, please find some way of letting me know where you are. Perhaps someone could email me a...

Still haven't been to Missoula to visit you in person but think of you both often.

Dearest Jan and family, so sorry for your loss, Dan a kind and generous man. Please take care, these days, and those to come.

Dear Janet Puccinelli Wollersheim Smith, This is your old friend Mary Ann Larkin. I mailed you a letter to let you know how sad I am for you, but it got returned in the mail. I guess you have moved. I just wanted to say how happy I am that you found true love with Dan--someone who was as unique and loving as you always were. I'm glad that you had fun together and had a circle of family and friends around you. I remember you so well from Marguerite Hall as fun and patient and so smart and...

Dearest Jan, I was wondering why no Christmas card from you so I looked in the obituaries and found Dan had died. I am so sorry for you, old friend. You and Dan were beautiful people in heart and soul and your life together was an inspiration to everyone. Write me sometime when you feel like it: [email protected] I'm thinking of how much fun you always were. Love, Mary Ann ps Did you see Miss Bruemmer just died.

Jan, one of the special gifts of our fiftieth reunion, was seeing Dan and meeting you. At NAC, Dan was one.of my best friends. He was all goodness.,and also quite brilliant., and humble. The year after Rome, I visited him and his sister' and had a great time in California. Joy and I were so happy to meet yoy at the reunion. Our hearts are with you at this time of deep loss. ,

Jan and family, we are so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was a wonderful classmate in Rome and a great model for all of us. On the ship over to Naples, I often found him in the lounge on the ship playing the piano. He was a whiz at so many things! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Sympathy and prayers to all who loved Dan

Jan, I am so sorry to hear of Danny´s passing. He was a remarkable man. I remember the two of you in California at Fran´s house and the laughter that we all shared. May God hold him in the palm of his hand on his journey home and may you be comforted in this time of loss.
