Not sure what to say?

Wow. So sorry to hear this. Many prayers to Melissa and their children.

I was very lucky to have known Dan for 25 years. In that time, I never heard him say a disparaging word about anyone. He was just someone you hoped your sons and daughters would emulate. I spent countless days with him and I cannot tell you an argument, we ever had(did he ever argue?) He was a loving uncle to my children and a friend that I could only aspire to be. His loss, which is great, should never out shadow how beautiful a soul he was. Good bye, my brother

We bought our house from Dan and Melissa a few years ago. Dan was so helpful when I needed some help or advice at the home. He always made an effort to stop by that same day and always gave me helping hand. He was a really good person and my wife and I are so blessed to have met him. He will be greatly missed and his memory will continue through his family and friends.

A Tribute to Dan Smith: A Superhero Among Us Some people are so full of light and love that it´s impossible not to feel their impact. Dan Smith is one of those souls. He´s a man who seemed to be battery powered by an endless reserve of joy, kindness, and an easygoing nature that made everyone around him feel at home. To me, he wasn´t just Dan, he was a superhero. My connection to Dan began long before I met him, way back in fifth grade when I met Melissa, his future wife and a...

For someone who is and was so focused on every aspect of family and friends,in everything he does for people and the care for everyone. That he has touched sharing his smile positive outgoing attitude. I thank you, you will be dearly missed, a great friend and an aspiration that we can only share his kindness too, all he has paid it Forward too, in sports and life, thank you for making us better people.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I played volleyball against Dan back in the 90´s when we played on the MPVA. Dan was a fierce competitor, great player, but always and great person and professional every time we were together over the years. It´s been years since we have been in contact but I´m very sad to hear about Dan and pray for his family.

I met Dan during a time when one would be so sad but he was a great person and patient who spoke to me and taught me the great accomplishment in life. I am sad to have known him for a short period of time but it was my privilege meeting him. My hear goes out to his wife and children.

My apology, I meant Dan.
