Not sure what to say?

Dear Sorrells family,

I was very sorry to hear that Dr. Sorrells had passed on. The description of his life was moving; what a full life he lived! He always seemed to me a very kind person. I know he will be greatly missed by many.

My condolences to all of you,
Alicyn Warren (Bloomington, IN)

Dear Eleanor and family, my most sincere condolences for the passing of my good friend Jack. I have known Jack since I joined the Athens Torch Club in 1971. He was the last surviving founder member of our club. Whenever we needed help, Jack was the voice of reason and optimism. We will miss him.
Gilles, sec-treas. of the Athens Torch Club for self and Bern

Jack was one of those special people who touch your life personally and professionally. His positive attitude, even disposition, and always pleasant personality made his presence at The Ark a weekly treat. I have a basket that he made for me that I will always treasure. I learned much from this wonderful man that I will carry with me through the rest of my life. Thank you Jack for years of friendship and hard work at The Ark.

Dear Eleanor,
We wanted to let you know that you and your family are in our thoughts at this time. We have so many fond memories of our times with you and Jack in Land Harbor. Jack was such a special person and we cherish our memories of the times we had together.
Warmest wishes to you and your family.

I worked with Jack for many years at The Ark. He was one of the kindest and most intelligent people I have ever known. He touched many lives and was an inspiration to me. I was honored to have known him.

Dear Eleanor, we are thinking of you and remembering what a "MELLOW" fellow & "INQUIRER" Jack was! He will remain a must loved and greatly missed kind gentleman at First Presbyterian! With our love and sympathy to you and the family, Mel & Barbara Sawyer

Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss visiting with Jack in Athens and catching up on Sorrells family history.

Eleanor:
The bowl that Jack made for me while you were taking Dancing Aerobics from me remains one of my favorite pieces of pottery. I am thinking of you during this time.

Jack will be forever remembered by us as a friendly, cheerful personality and always had a good word for us each time we saw him. He was a good community worker and dedicated Rotarian.
