Not sure what to say?

We belatedly heard about Danny's passing just a few days ago. We moved away from Milwaukee to Des Moines last August to live closer to our son and his family, so luckily Hale managed to track us down via email. So sorry to hear the news. Danny was a friend who fathered two sons at about the same time that our two sons were growing up. We send our deepest condolences.

Danny was a close friend to both me and my wife (before we were married),He was always sweet and kind and we were both very fond of him. Many hours were spent together at robin cleanesrs on lawerence ave. His passing has saddened us both. So sorry for your' loss. Fondly , Howard and Gail Schaffner

It is hard to put into words how I feel about my brother. Since I am his younger sister, I have never known a day without him and it is hard to imagine one. He was kind, caring and generous, and portrayed this to all who knew him. I am very fortunate to have had Dan as my brother. He will forever maintain a place in my heart.

Rest in peace.

Love,
Patti

I am not surprised to see how fond of Dan everyone was. As my brother, he was the best. He was not only my brother, he was my best friend. Not a day went buy that we didn't talk or text. I will cherish the love and memories forever.

Loving sister,
Myrna

To Dan and his family. Dan gave me my start in the tax field. He was my lead instructor and coach when I worked for the IRS. He was a wonderful human being.

To Dan's family,
Dan was the lead instructor and manager of our training group when I started at the IRS long ago. He acted like a tough boss but he seemed genuinely interested in our success. It was my first job right out of college. I learned a lot from him and he helped give me the foundation for my career in tax. I sometimes think about how lucky I've been to have had good bosses and good teachers; Dan was both. My thoughts are with your family at this sad time.
