I was saddened to learn of Dan's death. He was a man of good character, insight and love. His smile and laugh were infectious and I will miss him. I was honored to have served with him at HFD and know that his heart was in many ways the fire service. Rest easy my brother. May all who have known you and will miss you, find comfort in the truth that as you rest having answered your last alarm you do so in God's arms.
