Not sure what to say?

Dan was not only a friend, a co-worker and a mentor, but 25 years ago he was instrumental in keeping my premature son, Marcus, alive. Dan sat with me, and kept me company, during some of my son's toughest times. Years later, when I became a NICU-RN @ St. Joe's, he took the time, to teach me. I will always remember him fondly.

To Damian,Isaiah,BJ,Robert,Lyndall,Karen,Chandelle,Will and nieces, nephews et al,
I only knew Dan as a neonatologist since the first year he came to St Joe's. Just so you know, he was a wonderful doctor, very compassionate, caring and strong. He fought for those babies just like he fought for his sons. I hadn't seen him for the last 13 yrs and then I ran into him at the hospital and he gave me an update of his life and the first thing was about his 3 sons and he showed me pics skiing on...

To my loving uncle,
Uncle Dan I miss you and love you so very much. I am so greatful to be have had such an amazing person in my life. You will forever be my savior and my hero. Love you so much

To dan's Family and friends:

I remember Dan as a smart and kind-hearted physician when I worked with him when he was a resident at St. Joseph's Hospital in the 1980's. I am so sorry for the loss of Dan. May the memories you have with Dan hold him close to your hearts and give you peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Dan and I worked together in the 1980's during his residency at St. Joseph's Hospital. I remember Dan as such a smart and kind-hearted physician and a pleasure with whom to work. May you all find peace in the memories that you shared with Dan.

It is so hard to find the words for such a wonderful person that I had the privilege to know and work with, you were the best. Your work is far from done, only now you must do it from heaven. There will always be a pair of empty shoes here since no one can fill them. Rest easy and remember, you are so loved.

Good night, sweet prince!

To Dan's family and friends,
Although I have not seen Dan in several years, I have fond memories of meeting him when he first came to Phoenix and working with him over the years. He was sensitive and caring, and I appreciate how he attended to those NICU babies I delivered. The medical community will truly miss him.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
