Woodfin Funeral Chapel - Murfreesboro Obituary


Daniel E. Stephens, age 29 of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.


Daniel is survived by his wife, Edith Stephens; his parents, Russell and Jane Stephens of Murfreesboro; a sister, Elatia Schmitz and husband Michael of Smyrna; maternal grandmother, Martha Krantz of Pleasant View, Tennessee; and a host of other loving family and friends.


Daniel was born in Columbia, Tennessee and was an auto mechanic at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Smyrna. Daniel was a United States Army Veteran who proudly served three tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.


Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of memorial services beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.


The family requests memorials be made in Daniel’s name to the Tennessee Fischer House Foundation, P.O. Box 774, Brentwood, Tennessee 37024-0774.
