Not sure what to say?

As a medical school educator, I try hard to emulate his passion for teaching. Remembering Dr. Stewart today especially.

I just learned about Dan! Cindy, my thoughts are with you and hope you are doing OK!

You are missed my friend! Peggy

There isn't a month that goes by without me thinking of Dan. On top of all the patients he's done wonders for, he's gets a huge amount of credit for the physician I am today. As "study buddies" through the first 2 years of med school, he kept me grounded and helped me through some of the hardest learning experiences of my life. You'll never be forgotten, my good friend.

Thinking of Dan this week. Sending prayers and thoughts to the family. Remembering him.

I just found out abut Dan, and how said I am, what a huge loss not just to the medical field but all the patients he treated. I was his patient for over 10 years, and NEVER one time was he too busy to take my call, or see me and answer any questions or concerns I may have. A true friend to all his patients and great caring and true bed side manners. I will miss him dearly and Cindy I have never met you but Dan shared stories and his love for you! Thank you for sharing him with all of us.....

Hello Cindy,
I just saw this today.. and I cryed.
I have missed you guys.
Yes we had good and bad times as people do... But..you and Dan were always special to me and Fran.

I just found out about Dan, reading the Washburn alumni magazine. Dan and I were "study buddies" in medical school. Because of Dan, I'm the doctor I am today! Myself, and many of my patients, owe their life to him. He was always thinking of me during those first 2 years of med school, and was thinking of how he could make himself a better doctor. The world is a lesser place with the loss of Dan.

CINDY, I AM SO DEEPLY SADDENED TO LEARN ABOUT DANS PASSING. Although it has been many years since we have last spoken, you and Dan came to my mind many times and how much love you two shared with each other and those of us around you.
I was trying to find you and Dan 2 weeks ago when I found this notice. Please know how much you and Dan meant to so many. I was blessed to have known you both when you first dated. I have been reading all the condolences and he was truly a gift from God...
