Deepest sympathy to the Stroud clan on the very sad passing of Dan.
I enjoyed working with him at both PHH & MMC

I am shocked at the passing of a truly good man. I enjoyed the many years of association with Dan and enjoyed his many stories of radiation safety.
My deepest sympathy to his family, but know he was greatly admired especially by me.

Dr. Daniel Stroud undertook his PhD research in Experimental Photonuclear Physics in the School of Physics of the University of Melbourne. Later, because of his background in nuclear physics he was closely involved in the medical application of neutron capture by nuclei of the element nitrogen, which is a component of protein.
