I will never forget you Grandpa

I was looking through FOP newsletters and saw Dan passed on. Dan was my investigator when I was going through process to be hired for CPD. I only knew him briefly through the process but will never forget him. His last words to me were, "you will be a good officer, you are starting the academy in 2 weeks and tell your employer you quit!" Thanks for looking out and believing in me. My sincerest condolences to your family.

Joyce, Sandy, Rick - my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. I will never forget Dan, his unique sense of humor, his personal views of the world and a special memory of a new year's eve party long ago.

We grew up with Dan and remember his mom, his brother Rick, and his sister Sandy. I have many fond childhood memories. Our deepest sympathy to Joyce and his entire family.

Joyce, Our deepest sympathy. He will be missed and will be in our prayers.

Dan,
God has placed a call for you to serve in a better place.
It was an honor to work with you in 018...always a gentleman.
When you arrive at those 'Golden Gates' please don't mention that you were a Cubs fan.
God has a great sense of humor, he might say, "Wait'll next year!"
Rest in Peace my brother.
