Not sure what to say?

I recall Fr. Sullivan as pastor at Our Lady Queen of Peace parish in NJ. He changed my life and brought me so much closer to Jesus. His homilies were life lessons as was his talent of leading souls to Christ. Just a great communicator!

Remembering Father Dan! You inspired and loved everyday and I am grateful I experienced this gift! I hope you snd my dear Aunt, Sr. Laurene, who left us in 2020, are bantering and laughing and shining on us. Much love and gratefulness. Cathy Sugden

Remembering Dan with much love and gratitude every single day of our lives. Hoping that Matthew and Dan are laughing together as they continue to love guide, and inspire us With all our love, the Sengs.

I'm really embarrassed to say that I didn't know Fr. Dan had passed away, and am even more saddened by the thought that I did not have the chance to say goodbye. I was a student at SJA parish in Marlton, NJ back in the 80's and for a time Fr. Dan was very close with my parents and family, often having dinner together, sometimes at our house for Chinese food on a Friday night. I'll always remember Fr. Dan as being very inspirational, caring, funny, and most of all, human. He truly set people...

Father Sullivan was a very special priest who served at St. Joan of Arc Church in Marlton NJ for many years. He combined his wit, intellect and deep knowledge of scripture to make him a very kind priest.
His ability to work with all ages of parishioners when he was still a young priest is what I observed and respected.
He was a very skilled gardener who started much of the greenery around SJA church.

He represented the best of my home state and his, New Jersey.

He will...

I was out with my dogs the other night. One of the dogs came back to the porch with something in his mouth. He had found a dove, on the ground, in the dark. The bird had hurt its wing. It had no other wounds.
I put it in a contained area on the porch and nursed it for several days. As I came home from work on Friday, I stopped to buy a cage. I thought the bird could use it until it was better. I came home and checked on the bird. It had flown away. It was roosting on my roof, cooing. It...

I just learned of Father Dan's passing and feel sad for his parish, but happy that he has been called home. I was a teenager in the 80's in Marlton, NJ and always enjoyed Father Dan's homilies. He had a way of connecting to people and teenagers; not always easy to do. Praise be to our lord Jesus Christ and God and us who serve him!

Dan was a great spiritual advisor to me and to my then fiance. We just celebrated 13 years since he married us. We are saddened by his loss, but have the video of his homily to remind us of his power, wisdom, and love. I hear he passed looking out at the ocean he loved. I pray that from that view, he saw the Son rise. Rest in peace.

When I was in 5th grade at St. Joan of Arc in Marlton about 1980ish, I did my first confession with Father Dan. I was terrified. He was so kind and funny and made me feel at ease. I told him my sin and he looked at me with that smile he had and said "will you do that again" I said "no" he chuckled and said "good" He was always there with a smile for us kids. I am so saddened by this news. Although I KNOW how happy he is with the Lord he loved and served so well! RIP Father Dan I wish I...
