Chief Tauriello certified me as a pump operator in the early 70's and was just a great individual and one of the finest chief's in the Newark Fire Dept. who always had kind words for everyone. He will truly be missed and will always be in our prayers. It was an honor to have known and worked with such a great man.

Chief Tauriello was always a thoughtful and kind person.
He was chief of apparatus when I was a new F/F and was very patient with the new drivers.
He is one of the good memories of the job.
He surely is with God.
