Not sure what to say?

Eight years later and we still are thinking of , and will always remember the great Dr. Teitelbaum. He was such a hero to so many and saved so many lives. He will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are still with his dear family and friends . He left such a positive impact and there are so many children that he saved that are now adults today. So much thanks and gratitude will always be felt towards him. God bless him always and his family.

On September 26, 2005 Dr. Teitelbaum became our family's hero. He saved my first Grandchild's life. He will always be loved and appreciated by the family of Landen Varney.

Just now, having stumbled across the information about the passing of Dr. Teitelbaum, I am saddened....
Just shy of 24 years ago, I gave birth to a preemie baby boy with several GI and GU anomalies. Born at HFH in Detroit, my son was emergently whisked off to Mott Children's Hospital in AA. I regret not having met Dr. Teitelbaum personally. I received a grant in his name and was approached by many people who have been touched by his considerable generosity. I sincerely hope to do right by his legacy and offer my sincere condolences to all those who lost this remarkable presence in their lives.

In memory of Daniel H. Teitelbaum

I was friends with Dan at Northwestern. I will always remember him as a kind, happy, bright guy who carried the biggest pile of books with him every night to the library! I knew then he had a huge heart--my impressions justified by the beautiful comments by patients and famililies. Although I was lucky to have escaped a life threatening event I share with him a road traveled by few--hard work, drive, dedication, and the ability to impact lives.

dr.teitelbaum was a wonderful man, he performed numerous surgury on my son without him i beleive i would not have my son with me, im so sorry to hear he is gone god bless him and his family
