My deepest condolences, I was one of his 5th grade student at the West St School now known as Kelly school. He was a great teacher and someone to look up to.

I only knew him as Mr. Thompson, my 5th grade teacher at West St. School in 1969. I´m very sorry for your loss, I always thought so highly of him, I believe I am who I am today because of him. We periodically kept in touch over the decades. He was a great teacher, and I am very great full I had the chance to have him as a positive roll model and educator in my younger years.
