Not sure what to say?

Daniel, Yours was one of my favourite and most fulfilling courses during my undergraduate studies. I still think about and use many concepts you taught us, but above all you made learning a joy. Your passion for what you taught us is what I'll continue to carry with me, and I hope to honour you in some way. You're sorely missed, my condolences to your loved ones.

Daniel, you were one of my most influential and inspiring professors. Continue to inspire. Rest in peace and much love to your family and loved ones. Lisa, Toronto

Daniel, you are always loved and missed. You were a great professor and an even better friend. I send my best wishes to your family. your friend Lisa

I can't believe it has been five years without you DJT. Miss you much. (Daniel was about 25 years old in this photo.)

I hated the way so many professors made me feel. But not Daniel. He was one of the most kind and generous people I was fortunate enough to encounter during my post-secondary education. I was so terribly sad to hear of his untimely passing. He was such a kind and generous heart. I am now a teacher and he remains a role model that guides and informs my work. My deepest condolences to his friends and family.

I met DJT in the late-90's in Toronto, and we kept in touch sporadically over the years. I wish I had known him better, he was an amazing guy. I hadn't heard from him in a while and googled him. So sad to hear of his passing. Hugs to Chris and to his mom. He will be missed.

DJT,
I miss you! We were not in touch the last few years but you would randomly pop in my mind without fail. I will miss your impersonations, your jokes, your intelligence, but most of all your kindness. Maureen and Chris: my deepest sympathy.

I will never forget Daniel and how we spent the day of the Robert Welch University graduation together with his mother Maureen. He was an incredibly gifted professor and a good friend. My sincere condolences to his mother and husband.

I am shocked by the news of the loss of Dann. My deepest, most sincere sympathy I offer to Maureen. I know how very much he always valued education and I know also how his job completed him. We had not kept in touch, recently but to my heart, once a friend always a friend. I am so pleased that he found love and marriage. He was always such a wonderful friend that he said he and I would marry if we were unable to find partners! We each did marry and now sadly his is without him and I am...
