My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I met Mr. Tinkham in 1969, right after highschool when I became part of the Credit Department team of Old Kent Bank in Vandenberg Center, working for Mr. Battershall. I was the lucky one to type all the commercial spread sheets for Mr. Tinkham. When I had to make copies of those once in awhile for the meetings he would sometimes help me.

Neighbor for 31 years, cousin and good friend for a lifetime, who had a big smile and kind words each time our paths crossed. A smart businessman, and snappy dresser as witnessed by the baret and camel suit coat! We will miss him and remember him for all the kindness and good that was in him. Our sincere sympathy to Betsy, Charlie, Kate and David, also Janice and Dave. Bob and Lois DeBoer

Many fond memories of talking with Dan and Betsey at their home on Fisk Lake, as I tried to keep up with their paddle boat ... in my kayak. Dan was a swell guy, and will be remembered.
