Not sure what to say?

I'm fairly certain I already mentioned that Dan and I shared the same birthday; February 5, 1940. One of my fondest memories is Dan's reaction when he and I were discussing DL&A business when my secretary knocked on the door with a very surprised look on her face and told me that the Chief Justice was on the phone. Dan came up with a very surprised look and told me I'd better answer the phone call. When I finished, Dan asked me how I knew Chief Justice Warren Burger. I explained that we...

Great and welcome memories of Dan and all my friends and colleagues at DL&A come to mind with a bit of melancholy for those times. Dan and I shared the same date of birth, February 5, 1940. I often kidded him about his being older by a few hours. A toast to my friend and condolences to Anne, Bridget, Sean, and the rest of the family.

Dear Anne,
So very sorry for your loss.. our one meeting at your beautiful luncheon for Lizzie women was brief, but he seemed such a lovely man!
I was offline fior ages but just got notice via Marci's email.

Dear Anne,
Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. I'm so glad to have met Dan at our reunion from SEA.
At our brunch the next day he so generously picked up the tab for all the girls and he was so fun and a real charmer. You were
a delightful couple. May all your memories bring you warmth and peace. I
am looking forward to seeing you if and
when you come to St. Louis.
Love, John and Jan Klein

It is with great sadness to learn of the death of husband, dad, grandfather, friend.
May eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and the perpetual life shine upon him.

Anne: My visits with Dan were infrequent. I will miss his stories, his great voice, and the left handed 7 iron I furnished to him when we played at Bellerive CC in St. Louis. (I am right handed and don't need it). A true gentleman and a great example of SLU's law school. My condolences and prayers to you and the family.

Dear Anne, I remember Dan well from the seminary and I am so sorry to learn of his passing. I also remember you from when you lived on Meramec and went to St. Elizabeth's Academy as I recall.
