1961 - 2019

Daniel (Danny) Craig Villnow age 58. Born March 4th, 1961, of Groveland Florida passed away unexpectedly on January 23rd at ORMC in Orlando. At his bedside was John Mincilli life partner of 18 years. Survived by his sister Stacy Baecker, and nephews Jordan and Jarrod Baecker. Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude M. (Vogt) Villnow and father, Virgil K. (Stretch) Villnow. Danny attended Alexander Ramsey High School in Roseville Minnesota, class of 1979. Danny went on to attend Northwestern College where he earned his Musical Education degree. After working for Northwest Airlines since the mid 90's, in 2000 Danny decided to settle in Central Florida. Still working with Northwest Airlines until 2010 Danny quickly became a regular fixture in the community theatre scene, performing in many musical productions in Orlando and Winter Heaven. Danny was also an avid football fan and he always had a special place in his heart for the Minnesota Vikings. Purple was one of his favorite colors. Danny was a gentle soul who was well known and loved by many, his spirit has touched countless lives. Danny had faith in Christ, his family and friends and always brought out the good in everyone with his friendly smile. He will surely be missed. A Celebration of Life and Viewing will be held on Thursday January 31st from 5 to 9pm and will include catered hors d'oeuvres. On Friday February 1st, Danny will be laid to rest beginning with an 11am Funeral Service, then followed by burial at 12noon. Both Celebration of Life and Funeral Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home. 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, Florida 34734. Woodlawn will be accepting flowers, cards and charity donations on Danny's behalf at the address listed above. Please make sure you specify Daniel C Villnow. A Memorial Service will also be held in Minnesota for Danny's northern friends and family in the near future. Please join us as we celebrate Danny's Life and friendships.
