Daniel Visser

I did not know until minutes ago that Dan had passed away. My heart goes out to the entire grieving family.

Mr Visser "VIS" was undoubtedly the most influential teacher I have ever had. He was one of those people who just seemed to radiate God's love. During those difficult High School years, his classroom the one place I felt like I was accepted for who I was. I am grateful to have had him as a teacher, as I'm sure countless others would agree- the man had a gift for teaching!
Every Friday, I looked forward to hearing the classic: "Have a restful, worshipful, wonderful, recreational weekend!"

We are very sad to hear the news. I so enjoyed talking with him at Sandy Pines. I would make the extra effort just so I could spend a little time with him. What a great guy. Carol and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Visser, as I knew him, was a fantastic teacher who helped shepherd me through the trying times of high school. His advice and constant good nature were appreciated each and every day.

Mr. Visser was by far and away the best teacher I've ever had the pleasure of meeting (preschool through college). Just this past weekend, another GRCHS alum and I were commenting on how a newly purchased home would live up to Vis' standard of no unused space. He was truly a great, kind, caring, and nurturing teacher. What a gift to have known him.
