Not sure what to say?

Danny I miss you so much and think of all the time. Tell all my friends how we played sports together in our you. Tell everyone how awesome you were on the golf course.

The Washington State Veterans Cemetery extends our deepest sympathies to the family of Daniel L. Wakeley for your loss. We honor him for the service and sacrifice he made for our nation, he is a true hero.

Dan, you were always a friend and will be forever. I will always remember you and never forget you! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Danny may you RIP.

I met Dan when we both played football for Spokane Community College (1968 & 1969 seasons). I'm from Redwood City, CA, so it was difficult and lonely being away from home. Dan always checked in on me and introduced me to people. He was one of the guys that stood out because he had such a good heart. It didn't hurt that Dan could always make me laugh too. I hope Dan finds some great golf courses on the other side.

Dan Jones got a hold of me yesterday and informed me of your passing,I have such fond memories of our times together at EWU! You were one special man that will always be remembered for heart, friendship, and fun!! RIP Bill mcclaughry

Well my friend, a lot of time has passed since foosball in my basement, football in the backyard followed by you cooking breakfast for 15 future allstars...keep it in the short grass and we'll see you on the driving range soon...I can hear St. Peter now...on the first tee, Earthquake Walsley....your up..peace my brother...

I only knew Dan a brief time. I met him at Christie/Gil's House a few times- while having a BBQ. He was an outgoing gentleman who had a great sense of humor. I bet he is in a great place with his golf clubs and a BIG screen TV!!!!

Dan took our friend Robbie (in cart with Dan) golfing many times over the past years, despite the difficulty of Robbie's Parkinson's. God Bless Dan.

Weekend with Dan and the guys
