Not sure what to say?

As my "boss" for twenty-some years at U.S.F. , and my friend, it was a pleasure to be associated with Dan. He always had faith and trust in how I managed my Department, He was always a supporter of the Staff and more important took a personal interest in how they were doing. I think he really enjoyed interacting with our Resident Assistants especially during training at Chinsegut Hill. On the personal level we enjoyed O'Keefs, and especially going to boat shows. On one occasion he called...

I am so sad to hear the news of Dan's passing. I am so sorry I just found out today and I missed his services. I have such great memories and respect for Dan and Sylvia. As a young attorney at Carlton and Fields I idolized the two of them and still do to this day. I remember stories as to how the two first met. What a lovely marriage and loving couple. My deepest sympathies and love to Sylvia and family. Lillian Reyes Joyce

I've known Dan over half my life, meeting him when I was in Student Government at USF in 1988, and then getting to know him much better when I became Student Body President in '89. Too many memories to share here, but the relationship continued, including a memorable boat ride well after graduation while I was a law student. About once a year I'd see or email Dan and he always wanted to know how was the family. I will miss him terribly but am blessed to count him as one of the most important...

Mrs. Walbolt, I am so very sorry for the loss of Mr. Walbolt. I rode at Woodbridge with Leslie. I have thought of your family often and still see most of the girls from the barn. We talk of Leslie whenever we are together. I hope that you take some small comfort that Leslie and now your husband will be in my daily prayers. My dad, Jim Dickinson, and I remember Mr. Walbolt as just being a really nice guy. My deepest sympathies.

We shall miss the mayor of Summit Trail......
