Not sure what to say?

Dan was a humble, kind and caring man. My heart sank when I heard of his passing. God bless and heaven just gained an incredible Angel.

Such fond memories I have knowing Dan. He always had "something " for me when he made his doctor´s visit at Southeast Middle School. My two favorites were: shopping cart and a very cool pair of sunglasses to wear in my Lamborghini, my dream car! His humor and kindness, he wore well. I´m so sorry for your loss, Elizabeth and family. May he rest in peace and God wrap his arms around you and yours for peace.

Dan has been a very dear and special friend to me for many years. He will always be special to the Theta Mu Chapter of Kappa Sigma at Northwestern State University as we regarded him as our founding father. Our daughter had the privilege of working in Dr. Walsh's department at LSU and also became very fond of him. Our deepest sympathy to Elizabeth and the family. May his soul Rest in Peace, and his wonderful memories always be with his family. AEKDB R. J. Ardoin

Carroll and I were classmates at Zachary High School and I fondly remember him as an Intelligent and kind person. Please accept my sympathy on his passing. May he rest in peace and rise in glory. Bobby McCraine

So sorry to hear this sad news. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dan was with out a doubt my favorite teacher at LSU in the early seventies. He had a tremendous impact on me as a student. So glad to connect years later at LSU lab school where we both at children attending school. My prayers with family. Benton Aucoin

Working with Dan could be intense, but it was never boring. I will never forget the time we hosted a national professional organization at LSU that included an event at the Old State Capitol. Without warning, Dan appeared from a side door dressed in a seersucker suit and straw hat and proceeded to...

Mrs. Walsh it was a honor to care for you guys my thoughts and prayers to you and your family
