Not sure what to say?

We loved Dan. He was always friendly, engaged, a gracious host, and a most excellent friend. His pride and devotion to his family, his friends, and the Corps was immense. We miss him.

Dear Kateri and Family, Joe and I were saddened by the news of Dan's passing. I know you have a wonderful support network in your family, but I also know the pain of such a loss after so many good years of marriage. Joe's health mostly prevents him from leaving our home. And I have been at Mass General for two heart procedures one on the 18th and the other on the 28th of October and am scheduled for a third on on Nov 15th which unfortunately left me unable to attend services for Daniel....

Dan was a brave Marine and a wonderful friend. I miss him. Dan was, and is, always SEMPER FIDELIS.

Sorry to hear about Danny passing. As a Prep teammate on the track team for four years he was a joy and a "good laugh" to have around. All the track meets, whether duals at home, the Salem Armory, or important meets at the Boston Garden, Madison Square Garden and other areas where we were lucky enough to travel Dan always provided a top notch effort, which often ended up with the Prep winning State titles, in the relays and team areas. Dan always ended up helping us win. He carried that...

I will always remember Danny at St.John's as a great classmate, always positive, happy and helpful. A true "Patriot". Rest In Peace, Danny.

My heart goes out to the whole Walsh family. I was roommates with the one and only Mary Lee in college. I was far away from family and she invited home for thanksgiving. Coming from a small family of 4 it was so fun for me to experience the fullness of the Walsh family. I will never forget when I was there for the first time and I made the mistake of mixing up the Army with the Marines . We were talking about Bennett, and Mr Walsh quickly reminded me at the top of his lungs "KRISTEN, WE´RE...

I met Dan in 1998 when I was stationed with his son at the Marine Corps Recruiting Station Springfield. Dan was intelligent, funny and a great American. I thoroughly enjoyed his friendship. Semper Fidelis and Fair Seas Marine

Dear Kateri and her loved ones, I´ve had the honor of meeting your husband, father, brother, grandfather at several events and at this time I´m sending my love and prayers to all of you. "Those we love don´t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear" Anonymous On behalf of the whole Afri(K)que team

Dearest Kateri and Family, Our hearts are with you all during this difficult time...know that Dan's legacy lives on in each of you, and the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. He was a loving and proud Father, Grandfather, stalwart Marine Corps veteran and Truly Loyal Friend, and always made me feel welcome from Day One. May the love surrounding you and memories of happier times sustain you all in the days ahead. God bless you. Maureen & John
