Dan & I happened to be in the same 1955 CL class. I do recall passing him in the halls & assuming him to be one of those rare mature intellectuals. Since I was a dumb jock, we obviously didn't travel in the same circles. My loss, especially, in view of his impressive history both before and after his days at CL.
