My Dad told me Coach Ward had past today and I want to send my best memory of him. I played on his baseball team back in the 80s. He told me I had a good knowledge of the game but I learned a lot more from him. I was more concerned how I was playing and he made me aware of how to play as a team. He told me your always in the game even if your on the bench. I used that philosophy when I coached kids just like him for 19 years even using his same signals in games. My team won the city...
