Not sure what to say?

I met Dan when we pledged the PR Fraternity at Eastern. We lived together in the PR House and drilled on several national drill competitions where we almost always finished first. Dan was a fine man, a great Officer and a dear friend -- I will miss him a lot.

To all Dan's Family and Friends:
Byron and I extend our most sincere sympathy to each of you. The best time of our lives was spent at Craig's Creek, Dan's Marina, on the TAULE. Dan and Marsha made it a very lovely place to vacation and spend our weekends.
"Each Man's Death Diminishes me" by John Donne.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dan. He loved & lived life to the fullest. As a PR brother he was always there for mentoring and words of encouragement when needed. My deepest sympathy is extended to his family & friends.

Dan was my room mate at EKU, PR hootch, for a year, and I visited him, ever-so-often at Dan's Den and Marina on Sugar Creek, near Warsaw. I am saddened to hear of his passing.

My deepest sympathy to his family, friends, all who loved him. RIP old friend.

We were shocked to hear of a dear friend's passing into a much better place. Our memories will live on forever and we have talked about many of those memories with fond thoughts in the recent days. We will always remember the fun times.

Erica, I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was such a wonderful man. I'll never forget how wonderful he was to my grandparents Capt. and Mrs Beatty during there life in Warsaw. He will always have a special spot in my heart.

Dan and I made so many memories of R 1, EKU and even a spring break trip to Fort Lauderdale. Sorry we did not keep in touch. I will continue to travel the world as long as possible and think of you as I visit each new country. My sympathy to the entire family.

I was a classmate of Dan's and a Pershing Rifle brother. We pledged together and drilled together all those many years ago. So many years together and yet we drift apart. Sounds like he certainly enjoyed his life. My sympathies to the family.

Good luck Dan:

I was a PR pledge in 1963. I looked up to you then. I'm glad to hear you became a good officer.

My condolences to your family.

Sincerely,
E.J. "Herbie" Hacker
