Daniel F. Welch

Even though it has been a couple years since Dan's passing, I still hold the friendship we had very close to me. We were Central classmates, band and choir mates, and our political interests bonded us even closer. For our 25th class reunion, Dan and I wrote a song commemorating the 4 years we all spent at Central. Two other classmates along with Dan and I, sang and played that song for the class. It brought everyone to tears. I still remember the words and often sing that song silently...

Sue: We are so sorry to hear of Dan´s passing. Even though he and I didn´t see one another much these last couple years, I thought of him a lot. We shared the same moral and political views and I always enjoyed talking politics with him. He was a stand-up guy, a close classmate, and a great conservative. He will be dearly missed. I´m sorry we didn´t know of the visitation and Mass this morning. We will certain keep both of you in our prayers. God bless you and your family.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it there today I'm sorry that this has happened I never got to see much of him but he will be missed

I remember Dan very fondly from our mutual time as music majors at UT. My sincere condolences and prayers for his family.

Danny was a friend to everyone. He loves music. He loved to entertain. He will be missed by many.

Our sincere sympathy to your family on Dan´s sudden death. We danced to Dan´s music for years with the Lamplighters and Cotillion Club events. We considered him a friend. His loss is great! Jean and Norb Mills
