Not sure what to say?

Through Jordan & Jacob, God brought our families together and I will be forever grateful. Meeting Dan and getting to know the Weld family in his final months was one of the greatest gifts I have received as we all became friends and shared in divine appointments together. I looked forward with Dan to his home going and did not realize the hole & pain he would leave here for me, so many miles away. I am grieving with and for each of you. He has finally received the healing that many prayed...

Gina, I picked up the newspaper Friday and saw Dan's picture. I was sadened to learn of his passing. I've become out of touch with GMSPO since my retirement, but had heard he has been fighting this battle the past few months. My memory of Dan was his kind nature, soft smile, and williness to help others.

On my last day with GM, prior to my retirement, Dan made a point to come to visit me at my cubical. It was the last hour of my last day. He was one of the last people I was in...

I am sorry to hear about Dan's passing and feel for his family and friends who will miss him dearly. I worked with Dan many years ago at Thomas Design. He was a great guy. I pray you will find the peace that is beyond our earthly understanding.

You all are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. May God help guide you and ease your pain. Tom & Jordon were involved with scouts and football with Dan & Jordon. Our Jordon overheard me speaking to you (Gina) at the Pistons clinic before Christmas and asked why you were sad. I explained that your Jordon's daddy was very sick and that he may not make it to Christmas. We were at church the next Sunday and Jordon handed me a prayer card. I took it and instead of the usual...

On behalf of the family and myself I'd like to thank everyone for their thoughts and concerns. Dan was a great guy and I didn't know the half of that until I saw the outpouring of love and emotion at the funeral home and everywhere I've gone in the last few days. We will truly miss him but the thoughts and memories will continue. I urge those with stories to tell and the inclination to do so to please write those stories down. I know many who have written here and know of a few tales they...

Gina and boys,
You are in my heart and prayers during this very difficult time. I pray that Dan went in peace. He was a very good man and will be missed by all he knew.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Gina and the kids. I've known Dan since he began working with GM. He was always great to work with and talk with. I always looked forward to us crossing paths at business meetings which gave us a chance to "catch up" with each other. I will miss him.

Gina,

You have my sincerest condolences. You & your family have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I know that God will give you the strength you need during this time.

From Cub Scout Pack 164 and Den 7, Dan will be greatly missed. He was always a great help and participated in all of the Den 7 activities with his son. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gina and the family.
