Thinking of the Went family!!!!!!!

Dear Went Family, I was extremely surprised to hear about Danny. I had the pleasure of being a classmate in high school. He made each day interesting. I always looked forward to seeing him at our reunions. I am so sorry about your loss. Becky (Santini) Hearn, New Fairfield,CT

Our Deepest condolences to you, and yours from Stanley,Linda Leslie, and Mary Roberts, and The Ziolkowski family. We all have very fond memories to hold in our minds.

To the Went Family: I was shocked and saddened to hear of Danny's passing. We began our formal education together at Booth Free School with Miss Bernhardt and her piano. We were a small class from a small town.Families came to know each other through school, church and community interactions. The Went family was a well respected and active family within our community.Dan was well respected,a fine and kind person,as well as a great athlete. At Washington High (class of 1969),we Spartan spectators...

Glad we have memories of that happy senior high school swimming year that Nate and Worth enjoyed. Dan was an avid fan and supporter. We now live in a Sun City in South Carolina and Bob just had his 84th birthday last week. Sometimes it is a blessing to pass so fast and never have to age. We pray for your family. connie & bob Holbrook

Dear Went Family: Sincerest sympathy to all of you at this the hardest of all times. Danny was one of the pillars of the Booth Free School Class of 1965 as well as the Washington High School Class of 1969. Was with him from third grade through twelfth.. It was wonderful to see him in '82 and '99. So very sorry to have missed seeing him in '09. May your many years of happy memories be a comfort and your wonderful family be a source of much strength and great love. Diane Stauffer...

We are so sorry for your loss. We thought Dan was an amazing person with a wonderful sense of humor. He obviously loved his family. You are in our prayers. The Hawkins Family, Kody, Kara, K'Lynn, and Doug.

Dear Laurie and family, I am so sorry for Danny's passing. He was the best and the kindest of men, and we are the poorer for his absence. I am sure that the coming days will be filled with wonderful memories, and sorrow, as well. I hope that knowing your friends admire him, and all your family for their wonderful lives brings some solace. With sincere sympathy,

While I did not know Daniel Went, I have the privilege of knowing his son and daughter-in-law. My husband & I recall meeting him once at Kylie's dance class where our daughter Ava also was and he was a very nice man. Kerri has told me such nice things about Mr. Went. I'm sure Mr. Went has a lot to do with how great of a man, father, & husband that JD is today. Thus, I wanted to take this time to express my condolences to JD, Kerri & all of the family of Mr. Went. JD & Kerri - if you need...
