My dear James, Betty, and Anna,
A year has passed since Daniel's homegoing, but the caring prayers continue. I love you as I loved Daniel and, like you, I miss his hugs. There is comfort in knowing that our separation is for now, but not forever.

We are so sorry. You are in our prayers.

I am so saddened to learn of the loss of Daniel. Please accept my sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Anna, Betty, and James: What a sad loss, and an utterly trying time for all of you. I was happy to come to know Daniel, you of course, Anna, and all of you at Greenhills. You have shown yourselves to be a family with the character which will allow you to surmount this challenge. I am certain that you know that I among many others will have you in mind as you do so.
